Budweiser Named Official Beer of the 29th Chili Bowl Nationals

TULSA, Okla. (January 7, 2015) The King of Beers is now the official beer of the King of Midget races. Along with being named the official Beer of the 29th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire, Budweiser will also be the presenting sponsor of all Qualifying Night Heat Races.

"Race Fans deserve the King of Beers supporting this great event. The Chili Bowl draws a lot of beer drinkers, getting our brands in front of them makes good business sense," said Dan Peters, Sales and Marketing Manager for Anheuser-Busch sales of Oklahoma

Holding 47.6 percent share of U.S. Beer Sales to retailers; Anheuser-Busch is the leading American Brewer, according to information provided in public reporting for Anheuser-Busch.

"The Budweiser name has long been a part of Motorsports, with involvement at almost every level, and every facet of the industry," said Chili Bowl Competition Director, Matt Ward. "We are glad to bring the Budweiser name to the Chili Bowl Nationals, and look forward to a long and successful partnership."

Anheuser-Busch products will be sold during the entire Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.
