Johnny Herrera Racing Offering Top-Notch Ride for Chili Bowl

Inside Line Promotions – BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (Nov. 9, 2017) – Johnny Herrera has one remaining ride open for the 2018 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

The midget is a 2016 Spike with a new Esslinger engine. The car is all titanium with a carbon body and was driven by Ryan Bernal in the 2017 Chili Bowl.

“This is a top-notch midget,” Herrera said. “Everything is in great shape and it will give anyone an opportunity to be a contender at the Chili Bowl.”

Bricen James, who finished eighth in a C Main to narrowly miss a transfer into a B Main during his Chili Bowl debut last year, is slated to return to the Johnny Herrera Racing stable and will be joined by Scottie McDonald.

Herrera will not be racing in the Chili Bowl this year and will work solely on his three midgets throughout the event.
