 TULSA, Okla. (December 23, 2008) – As winter establishes its grip over much of the nation just in time for the holidays, the tension continues to mount as the kickoff of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire is just three weeks away.
And with a staggering 281 entries from 29 different states as well as Canada already filed for the event set for January 13-17, 2009, at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway, the qualifying night assignments have been determined.

 TULSA, Okla. (December 17, 2008) – The 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire will feature an added attraction, as the five-night event will be augmented with the Chili Bowl Race of Champions.
And, race fans around the world will have the opportunity over the next several weeks to determine the final pair of starters for the Tuesday night, January 13, Race of Champions event via voting at www.chilibowl.com.

 TULSA, Okla. (December 12, 2008) – The cast of competitors being assembled for the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire just keeps getting tougher with each passing day.
In just the past couple of days, names such as Gardner, Drake, Hatton, Cottle, Kaeding, Crawley, Altig, Pedregon and more have been added to the list of drivers entered for the event that takes place at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 13-17, 2009.
And with the December 15 pre-entry deadline on the other side of the weekend, the official pre-entry count has climbed to 223 as of the close of business on Friday, December 12.

| Race of Champions Field is Nearly Set! |
 TULSA, Okla. (December 11, 2008) – The field for the Chili Bowl Race of Champions on Tuesday night, January 13, has been set. Almost, that is.
The final pair of "at-large" starting berths for the Chili Bowl Race of Champions will be determined by the fans via an on-line voting procedure.
The Chili Bowl Race of Champions will be just one part of a stellar Tuesday night kickoff of the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire, a five-night racing extravaganza that takes place at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 13-17, 2009.

| Chili Bowl Entry County Closes in on 200! |
 TULSA, Okla. (December 10, 2008) – With the December 15 pre-entry deadline rapidly approaching, the entry count for the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire is nearing the 200 mark as of the close of business on Wednesday.
Thus far, 189 entries representing 29 different states as well as Canada have been filed for the event that is set to take place at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 13-17, 2009.

From the NASCAR ranks, to the drag strips, to your favorite Saturday night bullring and across the seas, people circle the dates of the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals on their calendar each year.
And with the pre-entry deadline of December 15 for the 23rd Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire still ten days away, the event office has already been flooded with entries in anticipation of next month's mega-event at the QuikTrip Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway.
